Bishop Douglas Miles was a founding member of ReBUILD Metro and served on our Board for over 12 years. As a longstanding BUILD Leader and a constant voice for the voiceless in Baltimore, Bishop Miles infused ReBUILD with a sense of purpose and a commitment to work towards a better and more equitable city. He radiated a belief in the power of moral actions and possessed a unique ability to inspire powerful people to act justly. He will be dearly missed, and his shoes cannot be filled, but we are among the thousands in Baltimore who will be working to follow his great example and carry on his legacy.
