In 2020, Baltimore Community Foundation’s Invest for More program made an impact investment in ReBUILD Metro to support our efforts to revitalize homes and businesses in Johnston Square, among the millions of dollars it invests in companies and organizations that generate a social impact in the Baltimore region. Now, BCF is also offering its individual donors and the general community the opportunity to co-invest in this program, and ReBUILD is proud to be the first of BCF’s impact investments to receive additional investment through BCF directly from its donors.
Since we began rebuilding homes in Baltimore 15 years ago, our work has always been in part a story of Baltimoreans pooling resources to change their city together. Our relationship with BCF helps us further this tradition, and we appreciate their belief in our work as we close in on $10 million in local investment to Transform Johnston Square.
